MEET THE STAFF AT FOOTSCRAY CITY FILMS
ANTHONY KORENY - Trainer/Assessor - Camera. Lighting, Editing
Anthony is a cinematographer and Footscray City Films alumnus. He was the director of photography on the feature films including Netflix’s “Death of a Gentleman” which saw him travelling around Australia, the UK and India with other Footscray alumni, and “Cerulean Blue” an independent feature film which debuted at 2019’s Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF), as well as countless short films, music videos and commercial work with clients such as: Medibank, NAB and Spirit of Tasmania. As an active member of the film community he brings forward his experiences and networks to the school. Anthony is interested in the language of cinema and how that is conveyed through cinema techniques with camera and editing.

MEET THE STAFF AT FOOTSCRAY CITY FILMS
KRISTEN CONDON - Trainer Instructor - Directing Actors & Film Industry Studies. Kristen is an award-winning actress who is best known for her roles in several feature films. Dubbed the Indie Queen of Melbourne cinema, Kristen’s catalogue is subversive, challenging and risky. In 2019 she wasn nominated for Best Actress at the Ozlix Independent Film Awards for "Landfall". Her other screen credits include, "Under A Kaleidoscope”, “Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla“, "Sizzler ‘77”, “Jugular”, "The Beautiful & The Damned", “John Safran’s Race Relations” and “The Perfect Nonsense”. Kristen has recently also helmed her own web series coming soon to Ozflix. She is a graduate of the 16th Street Melbourne Actors Studio and studied at the Ruskin School of Acting in Los Angeles under John Ruskin in the Meisner technique. Kristen brings an enthusiastic approach to screen performance and rehearsal technique.

Cameron is a writer, director, producer and actor. His lead role in the hit children television series “Round the Twist”, led to a string of leading roles in children’s programs such as “Ratbag Hero”, and the award winning “The Big Wish”, for which he received an AFI nomination. After graduating with a law degree, Cameron incorporated a boutique production company and moved comfortably into directing television and film for which he was employed around the world including a feature length documentary in India, and an anti-racism commercial for which he was invited to France and the Cannes Lion Festival with an advertising nomination. He more recently wrote and directed his first feature film starring JK Simmons, and Jake Busey, “A Boy Called Sailboat”, which has taken out multiple international awards, including Best Director and Best Screenplay in Boston over some highly respected Academy Award nominated company. His acting credits include “City Homicide”, “Seachange”, “The Jammed”, “Boronia Boys” and “Blackrock”. Cameron’s vast knowledge and experience in the Australian and International film markets is a great resource for students.
